Medium of Instruction

Our school is one of the 14 Government schools approved for using English as the Medium of Instruction for all levels, effective September 1998. With the exception of Chinese subjects, cultural subjects and Civic Education, English is used in learning and teaching in all subjects. To prepare the new students for learning in English, a Bridging Program is launched in August for all S1 students. A cross-curricular approach on effecting EMI is adopted, and to encourage students to learn English in their daily school life, the school organizes an English-speaking day every Friday.
