Discipline

The Discipline Team stresses a lot on cultivating students' personalities and helping them to build up their positive attitudes towards life. During the past school years, the Discipline Team invested a lot in training the student leaders. By the efforts of both our team members and students, we have successfully built up a harmonious and orderly school culture. Our students can enjoy their learning in an ideal learning environment.

Student Counselling

The Counselling Team lays stress on helping students grow up as happy, friendly, confident, positive and responsible individuals. The Team organizes a number of developmental programmes which included workshops, tutorials, gatherings, leadership training, song dedication, volunteer and camping activities. Some notable examples are the S.1 and S.4 orientation programmes and the "Angels' Scheme" for all S.1 students. Students meet the counseling teachers and social workers regularly through various activities in a joyful atmosphere and a friendly relationship is developed. [student counselling website]

Moral and Civic Education

The promotion of Moral and Civic Education is given a prominent position in our school formal and hidden curriculum. We aim at guiding our students to fulfilling their roles in the family, the community, the country and the whole world. In addition, we focus on cultivating students' global horizons, sense of responsibility, positive values and proactive attitudes, which in turn help students to be civic-minded citizens. Major strategies include:

Promoting moral and civic education with the participation of different parties (different academic domains/ subjects and departments) for the development of positive values and attitudes among students.
Developing generic skills among students through the formal curriculum of Civic Education and Liberal Studies.
Organizing various mass programmes such as the variety show on the Respect Teachers Day.
Making use of the "hidden curriculum" to promote moral and civic education by daily contacts between teachers and students as well as the overall school ethos and environment.
Enhancing students' commitment to society by organizing different social service programmes and charity drives.
